When the System conquers Earth, most of humanity is trapped inside its game-like rules — but Cato isn't on Earth when it happens. A posthuman who never leveled up or gained a class, he instead brings the industrial and technological might of a civilization decades ahead of the curve to bear against the System itself, waging a methodical campaign to tear it down from the outside in.
